It is 3 pm and after a final goodby and prayer to bless Skip (who will be staying in alaska to do a bit more missions and a bit of vacationing) we are almost ready to leave. It was a great last day of VBS!
The pastor guided us through the wonderful history of this congregation in Kenai going back over 150 years! INcredibly this priest was educated at the orthodox seminary in South Canaan and his first parish was on Backman St. In Wilkes Barre!
A family in the church who supplies several of our students invited us out to their farm. Along with introducing us to their 28 Alpacas, here Hannah is Introducing us to Hunter, her spider. Amazing family!
Skip and Lou work together to serve snack... Lou is a member of the church here and has been acting as our main hostess. The church has been very appreciative!
George Price enjoying some morning black gold before our day of ministry begins! Almost as powerful as Jesus's commanding Lazarus to "Come Out" of the grave! Yes, we are all doing well! Praise the Lord.
Having a great time! Later today after VBS we will be doing some sightseeing along the coast. We have been waiting for a good clear day, but we are running out of days. The Lord might be kind and clear out the overcast. We are praying so!
